Embroidery at Ripon
There was lots of exceptional embroidery at the Cathedral produced by both the North East Region and Yorkshire and Humber Region. The exhibition is "Lindisfarne - Faith, Inspiration and Stitch" and it is on until 22 August. If you want to see more there is a slideshow of some of the pieces on the Durham EG website Durham EG
These represented Monks but I did not take the name of the person who made them. They appeared to be made from Sinamay and were very interesting.
