On Monday afternoon DH and I walked from the Wyche Cutting back home and, because he is not used to walking far, we dropped down onto a lower path which took us through the woods along past St Anne's tearooms. It was a glorious afternoon and we saw a Buzzard nest in one of the pine trees.
There were of course other things to see including ....
 |
Lovely willowherb seedheads |
 |
Sweetchestnuts and leaves |
Needless to say that has been the highlight of the week as DH is now exhausted and has not done much else since!!
What I want to know is, how did you get to the Wyche Cutting ?
ReplyDeleteWe drove and left my car there, returning later in his car to pick it up.
