Chickens
Spent a morning recently doodling - chickens from photographs, roughly sketched with a sharpened matchstick stuck in the end of a piece of garden cane and black indian ink were my starting point and then I went and found my new intense blocks and did some coloured versions. Not sure where this is leading, but I seem to like stitching birds so perhaps they will make it into fabric at some point.

He is splendid though I like the charcoal versions too - what a clever girl you are ! The inktense blocks work really well and at least you are using them and justifying their price - if I got them they would languish in a drawer while I thought about them and did nothing !
