Update on Sox

As Sox had managed to escape a couple of times by leaping from the bedroom balcony, we have been letting him out a bit more.  He spends a lot of time just lounging about, but must be mending as he is now eating more and taking an interest in catching the young wrens which have appeared in the garden over the past week or so.  He is still far from recovered and I think it will be quite a long time before he is back to his old self.  As you can see from the picture the hair on his tummy is growing back nicely now.

Two friends came over on the Saturday whilst I was 'Up North' and we had a playday.  They both went home with a Secret Belgian Binding book each which was covered with paper they had printed in the morning.  Foolishly I forgot to take any photographs.  They also had a play with a Gelli Plate so reckon they will be putting one on their wish list now.

I have come home tired but looking forward to the Festival of Quilts this weekend and then a workshop with Hilary Beattie at the Needle Museum in Redditch in a couple of weeks.  Can't wait.

Wonder if Clover is missing me and her walks?
