On Saturday I found the lovely texture above in the drying area for the Laundry in the Walled Garden. I assume it was an old 'copper' for heating water in the laundry. It was planted up with lavender.

Like the idea of the copper planted up with lavender -you've seen my garden and know that I have 'used up' my old copper tank - have got an old lead lined wooden cistern though that might look good with lavender though....watch this space
